One of the masterpieces of the genre of anti-utopias and a real horror for a book lover. In the future (not so far away), firefighters do not put out the fire, but burn the houses where the books were found. Any, because they are all banned. Guy Montag works as a firefighter and is completely satisfied with his work. Until he meets a girl who does not watch TV around the clock, but enjoys the rain and walks, so she is considered insane. Guy falls into the hands of Guy, and his world turns upside down.
If you look closely, this “terrible” future is very reminiscent of our reality today – wall-mounted TVs, wireless droplet headphones and much more that you recognize at a glance, even if it is called differently. But it is thanks to these recognitions that it is clear that the book is not so fantastic, and everything can follow this or a very similar scenario. Therefore, this book is definitely worth a look.
